Day 1Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport

Day 2–8Machame climb to Uhuru Peak

Seven days on the Machame Route via the Barranco Wall and Barafu, summiting at sunrise on day seven. The route page has every camp and altitude.
Day 9Rest day in Arusha
- Arusha
- Overnight: Garden lodge in Arusha
- Meals: Breakfast, dinner
Hot shower, laundry and a slow morning. Optional coffee farm walk.
Day 10Tarangire National Park

- Overnight: Tented lodge near Tarangire

Full day of game drives among large elephant herds and ancient baobabs.
Day 11Ngorongoro Crater

Descend 600 m to the crater floor for a day with lions, black rhino, zebra and flamingos.
Day 12Back to Arusha and fly home
